Benefits

The PMI
Mid-Missouri Chapter’s vision is that within
the mid-Missouri area, organizations will embrace, value, and utilize project
management and attribute their success to it. The Chapter strives to advance our members’
project management skills and competence and foster the use of project
management in organizations.

As a sponsor or advertiser, your company’s products and services can be
exposed to project management decision makers in the mid-Missouri area.
·
The Chapter’s Web site www.pmimidmo.org receives over 5,000 requests per
month. Our
bimonthly newsletters are posted on our Web site and circulated electronically
to our entire membership.
·
The PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter is an active participant in
local events raising awareness of project management, such as the Missouri
Digital Government Summit.
·
The Chapter is willing to work with sponsors to customize
sponsorship opportunities.
Policies
·
Sponsorships and advertising must be for a
project-management related product or service.
·
Sponsorships for Chapter events are non-exclusive; that is,
multiple sponsors may sponsor the same Chapter event.
·
Acceptance of sponsorship for a Chapter event and
advertising on the Chapter’s Web site or in the Chapter’s newsletter do not
constitute endorsement of the sponsor’s or advertiser’s products or services by
the Mid-Missouri Chapter PMI.
Sponsorship
Meeting Sponsorship
Description:
-
The
PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter meets evenings 5 times per year, in January, March,
May, September, and November.
-
Meetings include a one-hour program on a topic related to
project management, along with a light supper and a short business meeting.
-
Attendees are project management professionals from the
Mid-Missouri area.
Both members and the general public are invited to attend.

announcement on the PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter’s Web site www.pmimidmo.org

The
Chapter will provide a verbal announcement recognizing the meeting sponsor at
the meeting.

Sponsors may distribute promotional literature and/or
provide a tent card at the sponsored meeting. This material is to be provided by the
sponsor onsite at the meeting.

The
event announcement e-mailed to members and others will provide an
acknowledgment of the event sponsor.
Cost:

Sponsorship begins at $250.00
per event
Terms:
-
Payment must be received by the first day of the month
when the sponsored meeting occurs. Example: To sponsor a meeting held in mid-November,
payment must be received by November 1st.

Sponsorship Web site links will be posted within one week
of payment being received and will remain posted until the next meeting.
Example:
The sponsorship link for the November meeting will remain posted until
the January meeting.

Payments are accepted by check or credit card. Check payments

are no refunds to the sponsor if the meeting is cancelled.
Event Sponsorship
Description:

The
PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter hosts all-day events or multi-day workshops related
to project management at least once a year. Past events have included PMP® exam prep workshops and project management speakers.

Chapter events generally include meals and/or snacks and
beverages.
Benefits:

Advertising
Web Site Advertising
Description:

Web
button advertisements are posted on the PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter’s Web
site www.pmimidmo.org

Web
button advertisements may include a link to the advertiser’s Web site.
Specifications:
-
Web
button advertisements are 120 x 60 pixels in size.
-
GIF or
JPEG accepted, maximum image size 120 x 60 pixels, resolution 72 dpi, maximum
file size no more than 500k.
-
Seven
(7) letters maximum for sponsor, example, sponsor.gif. Alternate text for
images: 10 words maximum.
-
No
image maps are accepted.
Terms
-
The
minimum term for placing an advertising graphic on the Chapter’s Web site is
two months.
Terms begin on the first day of odd-numbered months: January, March,
May, July, September, and November.

Advertising fees are non-refundable.

Ads
must be for a service or product related to project management. The Chapter Board
reserves the right to refuse publication of any ad that would appear offensive
to the Chapter Membership. Any ad that discriminates based on
federally protected classes of persons will be refused. Advertising will
be published on a first-come, first-served basis. The Chapter’s Web
site administrator will determine placement of advertising on the Chapter’s
Web site.

Revisions of Web button art, links, and other information
are permissible once monthly. Charges may apply if frequency exceeds this time
frame.
-
Payments are accepted by check or credit card. Check payments

Submissions:

Include full contact information along with your
submission.
Please submit by e-mail to the Chapter’s Advertising Manager at
ads@pmimidmo.org. The Advertising Manager will send an
invoice to your return address upon receipt of your ad.

E-mail
GIF or JPEG by linking and attaching to: ads@pmimidmo.org and pmiwebmaster@pmimidmo.org. Do not compress or encode. In
the same e-mail attachment as your GIF image, send entire URL following the
standard “www” convention. Your URL must be live by the time the submission is
due.

Important: Payment and submissions must be received no
later than two weeks before the lead month of the first month your ad will be
displayed on the PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter’s Web site. Example: For a web button ad with a term beginning
November 1, payment and submission must be received by October 15.
Newsletter Advertising
Description:
-
The
PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter PMI accepts print advertising for publication in our
bimonthly newsletter published in January, March, May, July, September, and
November.
-
Submissions may be made in color or black and white. Any graphics must
be in a file format that may be inserted into a PC-compatible Microsoft Word
document. In
submitting, specify the issue(s) in which the ad is to be placed.

Rates
are based on fitting your ad to a standard 8.5” X 11” newsletter page.
