Education Officer

Term of Volunteer Position: January - December
Reports to: VP Professional Development
Responsibilities: Responsibilities are divided into two areas, you need only select one:
Management of presenters (2 positions) Recruit appropriate presenters for PMP Prep and/or any other Project Management Education programs offered by the Chapter
Assist on locating facilities for conducting programs/sessions
Collect and Review presenters audience evaluations in an effort maintain quality of the programs/sessions
Creation of material (2 positions) Assist in the actual creation of the content for the programs/sessions
Assist in reproducing copies/sourcing the material for the programs/sessions
Assigning the appropriate number of contact hours per session
Skills: Previous experience in presenting project management topics
PMP certification required for the Creation of Material post
Estimated hours per week: Up to 4 (Average)
PDUs granted for 1 year of service: Up to 5 PDUs per year
Special Note: Two persons are needed for each area posted above (4 in total). You can hold the position of Education Officer as well as be a presenter
