Chapter Information

Chapter History and Background:
The PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter, Inc., became an officially chartered component of the Project Management Institute on June 22, 2000, and was publicly recognized as a member organization by PMI the following September. The Chapter was formed because prospective member survey results generated the interest necessary to pursue development. Participation in Chapter activities and events brings many new opportunities to communicate about the profession and to share ideas with other project managers.

The PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter exists for, and is intended to benefit, all members and to advance the Project Management profession. Each member and prospective member is encouraged to communicate, participate, and volunteer to help make the Chapter the best it can be in "Building professionalism in project management." TM

Chapter Vision:
Within the mid Missouri area, organizations will embrace, value, and utilize project management and attribute their success to it.

Chapter Mission :
Advance our members’ project management skills and competence, and foster the use of project management in organizations.
