Chapter MeetingProcurement Strategies
About the Program:"Procurement" is a critical part of most projects. Without timely receipt of resources, project schedules are not maintainable and without quality resources project risk increases. Procurement strategies are a part of the planning process and the strategy employed will have a significant impact on quality, cost and timeliness. This program will engage participants in a discussion about procurement strategies in both the private and government sectors. How well we employ these strategies, will determine the level of procurement success. An integral part of the program will be the use of personal anecdotes and case studies to illustrate the concepts discussed.
