About the
Workshop:
Project Management and Lean Software Development
Have you heard about Lean Software Development but wondered if it could work in the real world and, if it could, how would Project Management processes apply to such a project?
This workshop will include an overview of the Parks Reservation Service Project (Kick-off to Deployment in 92 days) – a Lean Development Project - which received the Manitoba 2006 Project of the Year Award. It will also provide you with key ideas of why the Lean approach is even more compelling to organizations contemplating enterprise web deployments today.
You will learn:
Requirements for a Lean Software Development Project
Benefits Realized from the Lean Development Process
Potential Improvements for Lean Software Development
Importance of Project Management Processes in a Lean Software Development Project
How to Tailor Project Management Processes to the Lean Development Process
Project Metrics between Traditional and Lean Projects
Change Management for a Lean project workshop
