    Cost: The cost for this workshop is $110.00 for PMI members and $130.00 for non-members.

Include your name and e-mail address as well as the name, e-mail address, and PMI membership status (member or non-member) of each seminar attendee. You will receive an invoice with a link to PayPal's on-line registration.

    3.Individual or Group Payment by Check: E-mail pmivpprograms@pmimidmo.org and request a paper invoice so you can pay with a corporate check. Include your name, billing address, and e-mail address as well as the name, e-mail address, and PMI membership status (member or non-member) of each seminar attendee. You will receive a paper invoice in the mail.

    4.Individual or Group Payment at Desk: E-mail pmivpprograms@pmimidmo.org and request to pay at the registration desk the day of the event. Include your name and e-mail address as well as the name, e-mail address, and PMI membership status (member or non-member) of each seminar attendee. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of registration and will be asked for full payment at the desk.

    Cancel: If you register but can't attend the event, you may cancel before the registration deadline. You will receive a refund by check after the event. The amount of the refund will be less a 10% processing fee. To request a refund, please notify pmivpprograms@pmimidmo.org

    You may not cancel your registration after the registration deadline, but we encourage you to send someone in your place.

    PDUs: The PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter is a PMI Registered Education Provider, and aims to provide educational opportunities to all its members.

    About the Workshop:

    Project Management and Lean Software Development

    Have you heard about Lean Software Development but wondered if it could work in the real world and, if it could, how would Project Management processes apply to such a project? This workshop will include an overview of the Parks Reservation Service Project (Kick-off to Deployment in 92 days) – a Lean Development Project - which received the Manitoba 2006 Project of the Year Award. It will also provide you with key ideas of why the Lean approach is even more compelling to organizations contemplating enterprise web deployments today.

  • Speaker Biography:

    Terry Bunio

    Terry Bunio is a Senior Consultant and the Delivery Manager at Protegra. He graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Business Computing.

    Over the span of 19 years Terry has delved into all aspects of software development starting his career as a Software Developer and then contributing and leading in areas of Database Administration, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management and Delivery. He has managed several complex Protegra projects and provided database leadership for clients such as LPL Financial, Assante Asset Management, Moventum, GPA Technologies, Health Canada and Government of Manitoba.

    Terry’s focus has remained unchanged over his entire career: client service. Terry achieves this by following three simple guiding principles: client respect, professional integrity, and business value.

    His three passions include his family, referential integrity and the Green Bay Packers.
