Course Overview:
The PMI Mid-Missouri Chapter is offering a three-day Project Management Professional (PMP) workshop to help prepare you for the PMP certification exam.
Becoming certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) as a Project Management Professional (PMP®), or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®), is an important stop on the career path of any project professional. It increases earning power, demonstrates commitment to the discipline, and now more than ever, it is a requirement among companies, government entities and recruiters. PMI® certification signifies expertise utilizing a body of knowledge that is recognized throughout the world as an exceptionally effective standard.
This workshop covers the five process groups and nine knowledge areas of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (as presented in the 4th edition PMBOK® Guide). In addition, it covers information on the professional responsibility portion of the exam. Each module contains exercises and practice questions formulated to prepare you to earn your PMP® or CAPM®.
Attendees will learn how to identify the inputs, tools, techniques, and outputs of the project management processes. The course drills down on all areas -- reviewing key topics tested on the exam.
